When you are using this script, does twitch count it as an active viewer that potentially generates revenue for the streamer? I kind of expected the answer to be yes, but after thinking about how it works and seeing that it seems to only interacts with the chat I feel like the answer is probably no.
I always thought using this would probably be a win/win, but if it doesn't help the streamer this feels sad. If so, it also means that my approach of "put streamers I like without good channel points to idle while you are running anyway" is also useless.
On the flipside, if there was relevant watching you could probably get small streamers into trouble for viewbotting. Oh well, the one I used the scipt for most left twitch and the other one is open in the background of my browser anyway, so mainly curious
