  • Recommendations:
    • Keep as out-of-tree platform resolver.
    • Package Exports for libraries.
    • Prefer single unit in extension .[platform].js — which the custom resolver could extend to support an ordered list of candidates for a given alias.
• Package Exports status update: No completion in 2023. Ideally looking for partner involvement to get over the line.

I'd like to discuss facebook/react-native#41421: @motiz88 mentioned it being an issue to feature-detect require.context but I'm missing context for this. Could the PR merge as-is and and then be followed up with a PR changing the default config to enable require.context?
