📢 Toolchain Update: Moving from ESLint + Prettier → Biome

We’re upgrading the template to use [Biome](https://biomejs.dev/) as the unified linter + formatter.

Why Biome?

• ⚡ Faster – written in Rust for blazing performance
• 🧹 Unified – linting, formatting, and more in one tool
• 🔮 Future-proof – strong community adoption and momentum

What’s changing?

• pnpm format → removed

• Root-level tasks only:

  • pnpm lint → check lint + format issues
  • pnpm lint:fix → auto-fix + format

• No per-package dependencies/configs — all centralized at root

• ESLint/Prettier configs will be removed

Upgrade path (tt-upgrade)

• Run pnpx tt-upgrade → it will pull in these changes and apply required lint fixes
• In some cases, you may need to manually handle additional fixes (rules are stricter now)
• If you’d rather defer fixing immediately, you can temporarily remove the husky pre-commit hook

Need the old setup?

• We’ve created a branch legacy/eslint-prettier that preserves the current version with ESLint + Prettier.
