Is there a way to create a new architecture module inside the main android folder itself instead of creating a separate folder?

I am facing a major blocker due to separate module creation in react native's new architecture while creating a native module. More details on the issue here

I was wondering if its possible to create my android native module inside the main android folder itself so that I can resolve the issue quiet easily.
