[Problem] constraint on object operation for external geometry doesn't work anymore

Problem description

Points cannot be constraint to objects (lines, curves) anymore via the "constrain point on object" button or shortkey (O).
It strangely works during object creation though.

There is an error:
Wrong selection. Select either one point and several curves, or one curve and several points (3 times)

I guess it is just a wrong check at the beginning of the operation since one point and one curve should be fine.
