I’m wondering if gksqt might not work properly on Ubuntu 24.04.

It could be an issue with my computer, but gksqt doesn’t seem to work correctly on Ubuntu 24.04, even though the X11 backend works fine.
I’m seeing the same problem with Julia’s GR.jl, so I suspect it’s unrelated to the programming language.

Is anyone else experiencing similar symptoms?
