Automatically detect upgrade type

We can make the role try to automatically detect the upgrade type. This can be done by looking at the variables that user defined, and looking at the state of the system.
E.g. if user defines satellite variables and the system is registered to Satellite - use the satellite type etc.
This is good automation but is less reliable than making users define this plain text. Still I think this is something to be considered.
