Slow password causes extension load to sort of fail #129
Description
If it takes you longer than 20s (default timeout) to realize that there's an admin prompt when you install the extension and enter your password, the extension fails to load (according to the logs), is stuck in an 'activating state' (can't be stopped or removed) ... but everything else looks ok and seems to work.
Opening here since activate() should be fast and not require user interaction (i.e. macadam init() should not be called here with await) but clearly there's an issue in PD too when extensions work but are slower than 20s, so upstream issues could be opened after investigation.
