Remove Redundant Code and Fix Errors

The updated documentation is quite verbose, sometimes redundant and in some cases, incorrect. This commit removes unnecessary comments and fixes the identified errors. The code should now be less cluttered with comments, and the comments themselves should accurately describe what is occuring.
