Adjust format for long posts

I designed this theme around short blurbs of information with large pictures, but there are historical posts that are quite long and there may be future posts with similar length.

Fixes:

• add article.long-post class that makes text area wider
• change single.php to check lenght of post
• ensure that lists of posts always use an excerpt.
