HFS-SpeedTest Plugin for HTTP File Server

HFS-SpeedTest is a plugin for HTTP File Server version 3 (HFS 3) designed to measure connection speed to the server. It provides network quality insights, including latency (ping), jitter, download/upload speeds, with real-time visualization of results.

My understanding is that I should change all code dependencies from hfs-speedtest to speedtest? Is the same true for all other plugins?
For example: <script src="/~/plugins/hfs-speedtest/lib/chart.js"></script>
or console.log(`[HFS-SpeedTest] Cleared download buffer (${bufferSize} bytes) after 30 minutes of inactivity`); (for consistency).

Or, does the removal of the hfs- prefix only apply to the HFS UI, while the subfolder names in the \plugins\ folder will still contain hfs-? Is it critical if the plugin name is mentioned in logs and other places with the hfs- prefix?

the hfs- is removed also on installation, but you should not use absolute paths when not necessary.
use a relative path.

I've made a number of changes to meet the publication standards, including those for the hfs-monitor-agent and the HFS-Exec-Launcher. Do you have any recommendations?

it seems good now, but i can still suggest

1. the URLs you are using for the preview images are not working, as (despite the name) they are linking a web page instead of the file itself. Try adding ?raw=true to each url.
2. it is safer if you don't use require() but api.require() (and for that you have to move that code inside init)

It's done. If there are issues with ?raw=true, i can try changing it to a direct link to https://raw.githubusercontent.com/. I've also changed to api.require(), including for the HFS-Exec-Launcher.

in the making of this plugin, did you use the "hfs plugin helper" GPT?

I first noticed the GPT-bot a few weeks ago. Haven't tried it yet. How well does it actually know HFS?
I'll publish the plugin when I find a minute.

i can't really judge "how well", but i can say i trained it with all the .md files, and the source of most plugins.
in current version (2) i added some missing some doc and the frontend of the plugins.
in version 3 i plan to include also the source files of hfs, because that's also an important piece of knowledge, especially to access bits that are not officially exposed, but can be require-d anyway.

Hi guys. It seems to me that this plugin does not work on the 3.0.1 version of HFS or I cannot find the speed measurement button on my dashboard. Please show in the screenshot where is the button that opens the speed measurement panel?

There's no button, it is accessible on /speedtest path
