Configure the "Accelerated" property on a record

Hello,

I'm unable to find how to configure the Accelerated property through a YAML source file to Bunny.
I've tried importing a Bunny zone to YAML file, but it doesn't embed this property.

The code mentions:

        # Proprietary record type which allows to "CDNify" this record through
        # Bunny CDN.
        # Deprecated, use a standard record type with "Accelerated" and
        # AcceleratedPullZoneId set.

But I can't manage to find how to do it.

Hi,

Sorry for missing your issue.

Currently octodns-bunny only allows to sync DNS records, not to dynamically enable/disable Bunny CDN on them like the Cloudflare provider allows with its proxied flag.

I had planned to implement this feature at the time but did not finally because the API documentation was very sparse and I had not planned to use the CDN feature anyway.

If you’re interested I can take a look at it when I have spare time. PR are welcome too!

I might give it a shot if my customer proceeds with Bunny DNS, which is not certain for now.
It seems to be documented under the Core API doc: https://docs.bunny.net/api-reference/core/dns-zone/update-dns-record
It mentions an Accelerated property.

I don't remember the exact details, but setting Accelerated to true in record details isn't enough, I think you should set a pull zone too and maybe other properties.
Bunny’s API docs just list available fields but do not provide any further details, so it’s a trial and error game.
