Future plans for phing-drupal-template?

I'm looking for a make-y/build-y thing to base some CI for Drupal distributions on.

What are your future plans for phing-drupal-template? I see that some development has continued to occur in the "develop" branch - will this be merged into master eventually?

Or is this project being put aside in favor of drake_ci: https://github.com/reload/drake_ci
