Troubleshooting 401 Unauthorized Error with npx create-remix

I feel a little out of my league how to troubleshoot an issue with npx create-remix.

Regardless of the installation option I choose (Just the basics, a full production stack, etc) and whether I say yes or no to "Do you want to run npm install" I see the same error:

Error: Error fetching repo: 401 Unauthorized

I don't have any issues running npx to install other frameworks or packages, and can't quite figure out why I would be with remix. So I would totally appreciate any help about what might be causing this!

This issue was fixed after I commented out an exported Github token in my .zshrc.

Glad you got it sorted out! If anybody else has trouble, a 40x usually means you've got some sort of npm registry configuration that's pointing to the wrong registry.
