Cypress Component Test with Remix

I am running into issues with setting up/running new Cypress Component Tests with my Remix project due to dependency on Webpack: https://docs.cypress.io/guides/component-testing/component-framework-configuration

My understanding is that Remix does not use webpack. However, is there a way to support Cypres Component Tests?
