Persistent variable marked as "not defined or defaulted" when it is, and works in game

I have a few persistent variables set for font size, but all of them are marked as not being defined or defaulted. And only part of the variable name is marked, like just "text" in "persistent.text_size", which is weird.

Is this a bug in the extension or am I doing something wrong? Since everything works in game it doesn't seem like I'm doing anything wrong.

I guess I was actually doing something wrong, encapsulated all the persistent variables in brackets and the errors went away.

should persistent variables need to be defaulted? in the documentation https://www.renpy.org/doc/html/persistent.html it specifies that the "default" statement should be used IF "something other than None is to be the default of a persistent value"

These variables need to be defaulted otherwise I'd be trying to set the window width/height to None, text font size to None, etc.
