This repo still uses EOL .NET versions

If we would remove the EOL versions from the connectors, then users with these .NET versions could not use the VS extension anymore. .NET 6 & 7 is still used by 5% of the users, so I would wait with that. Note that this comment is only about the "connectors", from everywhere else, we could remove the EOL frameworks (I didn't check the full list).

Can't we target netstandard instead of net6 and net7?

(I don't know how the connectors work, but those are dlls right?)
