Just a suggestion, but how old is the router? Some did not have the computing power to run above CIFS v2, so you have to add vers=2.0 to the options. |

Thanks - vers=2.0 didn't work but I then tried vers=1.0 and that worked. For the next person the router is an Eir F3000 (Very common in Ireland) and is a rebranded Sagecom |

Hi All,
This might be a silly question but I am trying to use a simple method to store music to access anywhere so I have attached a USB drive to my router for the moment. I got it to work with Volumio but rAudio seems to suit my use cases more so I installed that instead on a RPi.
But I cannot mount the drive from rAudio - I can mount it from Windows using SMB and from an Android App and can access the files etc.
Using the same IP and same drive name in rAudio it just won't connect. Drive is formatted to Fat32. The only things I can think of is that it could be permissions related? or I am misunderstanding in rAudio what Share - Share Name on Server means
Thanks in advance,
David
