Thanks for that @rern It solves the problem for me also, although I had already taken the 'dtoverlay=disable-wifi' sledgehammer to crack that nut on my other RPi... |

Today's "yay -Syu" upgraded the linux kernel from 6.12 to 6.18.
First observation: After the reboot "Wi-Fi" in "System"->"On-board Devices" is now enabled and can't be disabled.
