How do I add new radio stations?

From the Library page, select Web Radio and then click the '+' symbol at the top of the page. From there enter the Name of your new station and its URL and then click Ok to save. To add station logo; left click the new station, select 'Station Art', file and enter/select the require station logo image file.

The coloured circle next to playback in the settings menu changes the overall colour. If everything except the bottom bar is blue, there might be a bug affecting new installs.

The user guide is under the question mark next to the addons menu option.

Edit: Also, make sure there is no update in addons waiting to be applied.

I am not sure this is a bug, the 'bars' are often hidden on a new installation as the 'new' centre screen menu seems to be the default action. If the top/bottom bars are not showing, click the top centre of the album cover/web radio station image and the config menu will appear overlaid on the image. Select the Cog icon (top right) then proceed as below. If the top bars are already showing, click the Cog menu (top right) to select the Playback options.

Once the Options menu is shown on the right hand side of the screen, click Playback and from there select 'Show: Top-Bottom bars' (and may be 'Options: Bars Always On' - I do). The default bottom bar will always be visible and be grey with a blue highlight for the selected page.

Rern will argue having the bars always visible is old fashioned but I find it simpler than the new centre screen hidden menu.

You are probably right, but it sounds as if the icons on the bottom bar were not showing, and the bar was functioning, but black.

The best thing about rAudio to me is that it is so configurable, but for a new user all those options must be very confusing. Like you, I still prefer to have the bars showing, but it's great to be able to untick all the stuff I don't need.

If the bars are not enabled then rAudio will show nothing (black) where the bars would be, but also shows a changed (small hand) pointer when you hover over where the bars would be. So I think the OP is seeing normal (no bars) operation.

Thank you for all your help, all sorted now. I reloaded and started from scratch and all working perfectly now.
If you like blues here is a brilliant high quality (320kbps) stream with minimal talking. It's called Mississippi Blues.
