You should just need the server IP and the share name. (Plus login details if you use them.) |

Hi it’s a TP Link Share Center. I’ve rebooted the server and tried various combinations. I’ve finally found one that works. Thank you. Another problem this morning though. On boot it gets to rAudio login and stops. I touch the screen and I get a load of text and again it stops. It won’t display although the music is playing. If I put the ip into my browser I can see it on the computer, but not on the touchscreen.Sent from my iPhoneOn 18 Feb 2026, at 09:01, Chris Metcalfe ***@***.***> wrote:
What is your NAS ?
You say that you have enabled Samba, presumably on 'Features / File Sharing' ? If you are trying to mount an external music library, ie a share holding music files from your NAS, this isn't necessary. You should use 'System / Storage', click the '+' at the beginning of that section and complete the 'Add Network Storage' dialogue - see example screenshot attached.
I use Samba/CIFS via OpenMediaVault v7.x and shares from that require 'Options' to be set to 'vers=3.1.1'. BTW you MUST give the connection a Name (no spaces). Rern always advises to use an IP Number for the Server IP rather than a FQDN 'for reliability' (?).

Hi I'm trying to access my NAS. I've followed all the discussion posts and tried everything I can think of. I've enabled SAMBA. I am using the same settings that I use in Volumio, that I'm hoping to replace with rAudio. I can access it in Volumio and also through my browser without any problem. It's a new installation and I have run the updates. Any help greatly appreciated.
