Image Scout missing from Directus Marketplace

After the last update, Image Scout seems to be missing from Directus' in-app Marketplace: searching for 'scout', 'image', 'unsplash', etc., yields no results...

Thanks for raising this! I think this one might partially be related to your setup now. I tested on my end and can see the package when searching for Scout, however, I can see where the issue is coming from.

Upon testing within my local configuration, I can see that the issue is coming from not having set MARKETPLACE_TRUST: 'all'. From what I've found it appears that this variable is required to see this package within the in-app marketplace — without it, the package doesn't show up. So you’ll want to add that to your Docker environment to get it working.

From what I've read; if I can "sandbox" this extension, they will trust the extension enough to re-publish it without the need for that variable being set. Unfortunately, that could be a significant time investment and may take some time for re-development. I'll keep this issue open and assigned to me and I'll see if I can find any time to do that; the priority of this will be lower than the bug from before (apologies).

No hurry, @shealavington — it's already wonderful to know that it will eventually be done.

There are some online services that provide a pre-configured, pre-installed, 'standard' Directus VPS — like PikaPods. This means that it's not always easy — or even possible — to set arbitrary ENV variables easily. Being able to see Image Scout in the Marketplace without having to set a special variable would mean that more self-hosters would be able to find it, and use it! ;-)
