Using PC GPU for respeaker Whisper #261
Description
I have moved my Home Assistant OS onto an old PC (Dell XPS8700, 500GB SSD, 16GB RAM, i7 processor and a PCi graphics card).
The new installation is working well.
I am also trying to use the seeed Studio Respeaker Lite for voice commands but i find it very slow to respond.
I believe responses can be improved by letting Whisper use the power of the PC's GPU.
I have read numerous comments and 'how to's' to enable GPU usage but I cannot find a simple, straightforward method to implement this on my system - I am running HA OS on the PC, no linux installation, no windows installation.
Is there a way to activate GPU usage without creating docker components and installing numerous other bits of software?
