Long Term Operation in Access Point Mode?

Hi
is it in general foreseen to operate the Faikin Module in Access Point Mode?
Just thinking about making use of the extended functionality given by the Faikin without having a WiFi Network like e.g. in a Garden/Camping House without a local Network and Internet Connection.

Just having a Connection to the Faikin Access Point to operate via the web gui by a Smartphone or Notebook for adjustments or Monitoring purpose.

IS this really an Option? Thinking about IT and Just e.g. the Missing NTP Server would make the scheduling function for on/Off Timer unusable or is everything possible to be Set manually?

In AP mode we don't show the web control page. We could allow this, perhaps on a different URL.

Big Thx. I´ll give it a try. As mentioned the control functions I guess should work (auto on/off based on temperature) but because of no NTP server the auto on/off based on time/schedule might be not functional. Is it possible to set manually a time and the faikin handles by itself ? Questioning myself what then will happen in case of a reboot (e.g. by power failure) ?

Setting time would be possible, but more work, and no clue how accurately it would keep time.

I´ll test with your beta what happens in case of a temporary NTP e.g. by wifi connection from a smartphone and then I´ll shut down this network and switch to Access point mode. Guess this should give first indication about the accuracy but for me very simple clock feature would be sufficent. e.g. for a automatic day/night programm.

Many Daikin e.g. the Siesta series do only have a simple timer function by themself and without app, to add this locally by the faikin to have a real scheduler based on clock would be great i think.

Thank you very much! All I can say is it works. Seems the module takes the time setting from the first client connection and I have never seen loosen it again since then. So pretty nice also to use without continous Wifi Connection.
