Integrate external device Shelly H&T Gen3 (MQTT or Bluetooth)

Hello,
I have integrated Faikin module successfully with my AC Daikin ATXD and can control it using WebUI.
The next step is to integrate an external device that reports room temperature where it is relevant. This device is Shelly H&T Gen3 that has Wifi and Bluetooth (with RPC) interface and can communicate via Webhooks and MQTT.

I'm currently facing some issue related to BT, and until this is resolved with support from Shelly I prefer to continue with MQTT.

In heating operation mode, how can I control the AC with Faikin using the "better" room temperature provided by Shelly H&T Gen3 via MQTT?

My understanding it that this "external temperature" won't override the temperature of Daikin's internal sensor to measure room temperature. Is this correct?

If you regularly sent control with JSON payload with "env" being the temp, you can use the Faikin auto mode which will use that as reference, setting the air-con to higher or lower to keep at target temp.

I'm not sure which command is correct.
command/DEVICETOPIC/control {"env":"<current temp reading>"} or
command/DEVICETOPIC/control {"env":"<current temp reading>", "target": [<target temp range>]}

I think command/DEVICETOPIC/control {"env":"<current temp reading>"} makes more sense because I can set in WebUI, too.

But what does "regularly" mean in this context?

Env sets the environment temp.
Target sets the target you want.
