Powerful / ECO modes turning off with starting

Hey,

I just got my faikin working today with Home Assistant, but seem to be having some issues,

• Powerful turns off when i turn it on,
• Econo mode turns off when i turn it on,
• Logbook shows entities triggering without me doing anything

I can adjust temp, fan speed, mode and swing fine, it seems just the presets revert back and things happening in logs that i didnt do.

I have a FTXV25WVMA 2.5kW Cora that has a S403 port.

Any help is much appreciated!

Im not sure what that means, sorry.

Under errors, i am getting a lot of these triggering.

The occasional error is unlikely to be a problem, but could be worth checking the wiring is not loose in any way. Not sure it explains your original problem. Maybe dump off and see debug and we can see if the relevant setting changes. But I'm busy for a bit.

Hey,
I took the module out and shortened the leads, as they were very long, check all terminals and all good,
with the shorter lead i used a different module, and that seemed fine but powerful and econo modes just dont work with either module,
I did find this thread https://github.com/revk/ESP32-Faikin/issues/329#issuecomment-2214194168 with your comment that it may be an ongoing issue

But with the shorter lead the logs arent being spammed with status changes and seems quicker to react to changes i make from HA.

I'll keep an eye out for updates and see if this is fixed later, 1 still have 2 mroe modules to install, but these are the 3.5kw units, I'll see how these go on the weekend.

That is interesting re shorter leads. I may have to put that in the instructions.
