Few WebUI enhancements

Hi,

Congratulations for this amazing HW & SW solution: my old Daikin is now really usable to get room temperature I want! (with Mii BLE thermometer addon).

I'm still experimenting Web UI before deciding going the MQTT/HA route for advanced scenario.
May I suggest some Web UI enhancements here?

• allow few (3-4) local settings named-presets (names to be user-chosen): this would allow for instance to toggle from one preset to another with Web UI on front page (like: away preset, week-end preset, red-tarif-day preset,...). Needs assorted profile management functions to copy/delete/rename/save those profiles.
• allow to restart/reboot Faikin unit from Web UI (and eventually reset to factory settings)
• in Extra settings view, differentiate (give visual clue of) extra settings which are not driven by main views (like max/min temps, lockmode, thermostat,...), from those which are linked consequences of other views settings (temp targets, ble, )
• allow debug messages view in a web console (do not requite MQTT for this) & have some basic diagnostic report push-button (inferred protocol version, model, etc)

Interesting list.

The beta does change some of the settings slightly (ble mainly), maybe worth a try.

Debug via web could be useful I agree, that will more likely be something to add to https://github.com/revk/ESP32-RevK

Similarly a reset via web interface

I have added a factory reset using the round contacts on the back of the board - short them three times.

Names-presets: maybe - not sure - I think the best bet, as you are considering, is using Home Assistant for such things, it is very flexible and works well with Faikin and highly recommended.

Thanks for consideration: shall I add related issues then?
On factory reset, while physical access solution is definitely great, while having a remote solution (with assorted confirmation/ack) would be nice addition to avoid opening-up the whole unit to get physical access to device (unless this is a positively wanted security safeguard).
On named-presets: I guess simple-enough use-cases (1 unit, seldom preset flips) might be well served without requiring too much extra user investment to setup & maintain extra servers (know-how, time, Wh).

Are you sure it has seen the BLE, or was that just after reboot?

Yes BLE is seen in both cases.
But Home/Liquid/Outside are missing when Faikin auto are hidden, Fan levels are changed, swings and powerfull are gone,...

Sorry, did not spot BLE was in both, but that makes no sense, I am rather confused by that.

That is like you have nothing from the Daikin unit at all - does a reboot help?

Indeed, that might have been a (strange) transient thing.
Making the hide/show change does cause a reboot.
Did some extra flip back and forth, and now it does seem right 😮
