Autot & autor mqtt publish causes errors by Tasmota?

Hi

according doc the control settings auf autot & autor has to be published via Mqtt like this:

According my observation this does work for work e.g. env but not for autot and autor.

Only try i figured out was send mqtt command to faikin-id(hostname) without control and send autot/autor in the payload.

For setting the faikin this works, but surprisingly this causes errors in my mqtt broker log which are given by the source of Tasmota devices. I figured out this is not the case for Tasmota FW 13.4 but above Tasmota FW 14.x this leads to errors in my log.

I adjusted the subscription details of my Tasmota devices serveral times and yes they should not care about publish commands to a faikin device but they do.

So because of the deviation I recognized for working publish of autot & autor according manual, is there sth maybe wrong?

autot and autof are settings and changed using the settings functions. I.e. setting/Faikin/autot or using JSON and setting/Faikin

You can control the aircon remotely with the control command, instead of the autot/autof settings, providing the temperature and target.

No idea on your tasmota.

adjusting autot and autor by the the setting/Faikin/autoX is working fine for me.

So manual seems to be slightly missleading because autot&autor are listed in this aircon control chapter:

Sorry to say, but target is nothing really to be used very comfortably/logical in case of thermostat mode for me.
This mode works between Min and Max and for me the target temp should be in the middle of this range defined by autor. This is not the case and target is reported by Min_temp.

For normal faikin control mode this is the other way around and target_temp is reported by Max_temp.

Because of this unlogical handling i prefere to use autot which is really target temp for me.

Nevertheless now it´s great having a working solution without any errors in the log. Thanks

Just according my recognition the setting explanation "...10 times this value...." I cannot confirm.

Setting autor to 0.5 sets simply to the range of +-0.5°C
Setting autot (e.g. 21.5) is simply 1:1 the value e.g. 21.5°C

That predates the settings library handling decimals. I'll have to update.
