What does green/yellow/off LED pattern mean?

I just tried a beta OTA update and the faikin is showing a green/yellow/off flashing pattern after rebooting. Doesn't seem to want to connect to wifi, and isn't showing up as its own AP either.

Before I dig it out and faff about reflashing it over USB I was wondering what the LED pattern represents?

Yellow/white means it got no IP.

Reflashed latest beta OK, but end result was the same. Flashed latest stable and it's come back to life. So guess a bad beta build?

Thanks for rebuilding the beta, though sadly it shows the same behaviour after a reflash over serial. I even tried an erase_flash with esptool in case there was something lingering that shouldn't have been there, but still the same result.

Going back to the latest stable works just fine. The board is dated 2024-05-16 on the silkscreen in case that's helpful.

I'd quite like to work with anyone that has a board which fails on beta and works one release.

I can make test builds with additional debug output, and so on, to try and find how and why the beta is failing.

Do let me know if you are in a position to do such testing.

I've taken the affected unit out of service for now so can post it if you want to do some more hands-on debugging.

OK, Reset button was indeed the clue - the "Reboot" button on web page was the red herring.

I have made a beta now for testing. Please let me know.

Basically some older boards without the reset pads on the back appears to have the reset button held down - before, when three presses did a factory reset, that was fine. But now one press does a reboot, that is what happened. Logic has been fixed now - held down does not reset now.

What is extra weird is I have a test system here with an older board, but perhaps not the exact same one you are testing with.

Can confirm, the new beta is stable+connected. I did a complete reflash.
Not yet tested inside the AC, but that wasn't the problem anyway.
