Hi! I don't have the answer.:-) I have more questions and ideas. I am trying to achieve similar goal: the maximum long run of the compressor with constant delivery of the minimum required power to maintain required temperature. I am not using Faikin yet, I am just checking the possibility to use it. Right now I am using ONECTA and I have configured two internal units to the slowest speed and set demand control to be 40%, these settings allow two internal units (and external unit) run continuously non stop for days (even weeks), using in the average about 0.6KWh of power per hour delivering almost a constant temperature. I think Faikin could do the same. What I am looking for is that Faikin could adjust demand control according external temperature changes to modulate the delivered power to accommodate increased/reduced heat loss of the house so the units could work non stop for weeks. Best regards, |

Hi community,
First of all, thank you for this great project! I’ve spent some time configuring my Faikin controller to achieve long heating runs within the comfort temperature zone, aiming for good power efficiency and a reasonable number of inverter starts (up to 2 or 3 starts per hour, as recommended by the installer).
So far, I’ve mostly achieved what I wanted, but after analyzing the performance stats, I’m unsure about the inverter’s startup behavior.
I expected the inverter to start at a high frequency and power level, then gradually decrease as it nears the set temperature (annotated in yellow). However, as my graphs show, the compressor ramps up more gradually rather than delivering an initial power surge.
Is this the expected behavior for Daikin inverters?
Are there any settings I should adjust to optimize this?
I am also experiencing the same issue described in Faikin continues to heat up with Set Temperatur of 10 ° #610 in case it is related.
Any insights or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
