Trying to connect Faikin to my Stylish 30 N model, but so far without success. It's said in the instructions that pin mapping is 1:1, but looking at the image below, can someone tell me the pin order for this particular model? Is the leftmost pin 1 or 5?

From the top of my head, if you move away the black cable at the top, you will see the ground icon which should be a good hint about the pin connector order. |

I could not see that so to identify the ground (GND) pin on the S21 5-pin connector, I assumed that the first and last pins are GND and 5V so I used a multimeter to measure the voltage between these two pins. By checking the polarity on the multimeter display, I was able to confirm which pin is ground — when the red probe was on 5V and the black on GND, the multimeter showed a positive voltage. |

The problem here turned out to be a poor connector contact. As soon as I modified my plug (PAP-05V-S) by removing its clamp, it was a lot easier to push in place.

As for S21 connectors I use these:
Soldering each cable end together (= 2 x 10 cm) and cutting away the 2 bulges on each connector. The connectors are sitting firm and will not get loose. |
