Faikin device USB detection failing with "Device not responding to setup address"

I recently purchased the prefabricated Faikin from JLPCB but having having issues with the USB being recognized. I have tried different ports, hubs, computers and also some of the other boards in the batch with the same result.

Anyone got any ideas on what the issue may be? I'm not sure if there is a manufacturing issue or I'm missing something.

The image is the latest iteration of my cabling the two black cables coming in are connected also connected to the USB port but I terminated onto the 12V and Earth on the connection that goes to the Aircon as the connections on the TC2030 were giving the same results.

I'd wire up all 4 USB pins (not at same time as 12V).

And have removed the Andrews & Arnold Ltd name, EAN, and trademark AJK logo!

Good, you do not want different GND.

Have you double checked D+ and D- are the right way around?

Also, check the regulator output is a clean 3.3V when the USB 5V is connected.

Yes, USB connections are correct, I have checked the supply with a multimeter and it sits at a steady 3.307 volts. Not sure where to go from here as I have the same issue across all five of the boards so I may park it for now.

Maybe post a close up of the front of the board in case something obvious.

Sorry, all looks clean, so no clue, right module. All chips in right place and right way around.
