System is offline (no data tx/rx) on CTXM15R2V1B (2022)

I currently cannot get the FAIKIN board working with the CTXM15R2V1B. I bought 3 FAIKIN in total. already switched the FAIKIN-Board to be sure, that the board is ok.
I get the message "System is offline (no data tx/rx)".
I checked the wiring already several times.
I used the original cable, unpinned the connector on one side and used jumer-cables (male-male) to establish the connection (one side, simply put the unpinned pin into the jumper-cable, other side directly to the Faikin-Board).

I already made a loop-back-test, what was successful.
When I power-up everything, and I measure the pins, I have the following voltages:

1. 5v
2. 5v
3. 5v
4. 14v
5. gnd

I also attached my oscilloscope and I see on pin 3 some activity, but nothing on pin 2.

This is the motherboard-connector (white in the middle)

and the original wifi-module.

Anyone with further ideas, how to get the communication established?

Still not moving forward.
I realized, that I was on the wrong socket. I used the one where the original wireless module was connected.
Now I found the correct socket s21 socket one ordered the related cable.
I connected the Faikin module to this socket, but facing the same behavior. I guess, the original wireless module is simply on the same bus.
Seems, that my aircon talks another language, what is not supported by Faikin, yet.
Anyone experience with this?
Currently the situation is really annoying, because the cloud-based connection breaks permanently, and I get the Faikin not to work.

If it is S21 I seriously doubt it has changed, as that is used by lots.

If you have a scope and can monitor both ways using the original on its data that would help confirm.

Initially, I connected the Faikin Module to 1. this Socket showed the exact same signature (Voltage-to-pins) as socket at pos. 2.
Now after further research I connected to socket 2, where I also found the S21 description.
but still no communication.

I have a relatively simple osci, need to check, what is possible.

At there any settings, I can change on the Faikin side, to move forward, or what I can try out?

S21 (socket 2) should work, but if you can intercept each way tx/rx on the Daikin module and screenshot that may give clues.

Alright, let‘s have a try.
I monitored both lines, and for me it seems, that there is a higher frequency used. look at this two pictures. This is the same snipped, the second one is zoomed.


On the second pictures: on square is 100 micro seconds. Means, the tact is something around 20 micros. What might be something around 38400 baud (instead of 2400 in the „s21 protocol“. Or do I mess up something here? (Sorry, I‘m a rookie in low-level frequency analytics)

I can look more tomorrow, but a new faster S21 would be interesting if real.

Obviously adding a Baud rate override would be possible.

Note: I recorded this on the connector (1), s there is the original wireless module is connected.
From outside, (1) and (2) seems to behave the same. But I hadn’t try to connect the original module to (2). I guess, I can try it. If then a communication will be established, then it might be true.

I guess, I can mark this as solved.
I don’t know, why and what happened, but it works now.
I already gave up and was on the way to return the boards. I factory-reseted the first board. As I tried two boards, to exclude that one board had a failure, I had to reset also the second. I connected it to the cables, launched the web-interface to check, that the reset will take place, and the second board connected immediately to the aircon.
I‘m totally confused, right now. So the first aircon has now a Faikin-module integrated. I will continue with the second module on another aircon. We will see, if the factory reset solved this, or the board has any issues. I have a third board to verify.
I will keep you updated.
