Daikin FBQ50B and Faikin

Hi there,

I've got a quite old Daikin unit: FBQ50B
Based on what I've read, I don't think I can connect Faikin 😢 as on my unit I don't see any of the ports listed on the documentation, but wanted to double check this as I've got many others, which I am not sure if they are useful.

Maybe I should take a better picture of the electrical board? It's very hard to reach, but I can try to do better.

On the picture of the board I provided I see X14A, X15A and X31A connectors on the top left, but these are not described on the wiring diagram 🤔 I am wondering if I maybe have the necessary X403 or X50A connector, and it's just not drawn on the wiring diagram, but also hard to see on the actual board.

I have similar ducted units, and X50A wasn't listed on the wiring diagram, but there was a socket there! Unfortunately, no go for me. ONE of my units did work but it was a slightly different model/style, but the other ones didn't. :(

thanks for your input @alexcf, I've checked further and found the X50A port. When you say there was a socket there on yours, you mean there was something connected to it already? Mine is free, I guess this means I can try Faikin.

Give it a go! Mine was labelled, but like you said, not on the wiring diagram. It pumps some data out but nothing that the Faikin can interpret.

I've got my faikin but now I am struggling to understand how to connect it. Could someone help me understanding what socket type is my X50A? I am not sure what wires I need to buy, my X50A socket seems different from all the ones I've seen in the docs 😢
