Hi I have the following with the genuine faikin connected via x50a and x35a,
Faikin does not communicate with the daikin, any ideas?

Main things to check are tx and rx are correct way around. I'm assuming the Faikin lights up.

OK can you show the wiring at the Faikin end so it can be checked?

I have left and didn't get a photo of that. Will check during the week, Thanks for all your efforts on the project, I am really looking forward to getting it working. Are there any settings that can stop it seeing the ac unit? i have tried toggling most of them with no response received? Regards

As long as nox50a is not set. You can set nos21, etc.

Hi I have tried everything i can think of.
A multimeter on the x 50a confirms there is 6v, however im not picking up any pulse voltage from pins 3 or 4. pin 4 to pin 1 shows constant .01v pin 3 is 0v.
