[ISSUE] sudden loss of connection

Hello, i'm quite successfully using Faikin on 2x S21 and 1xX50 ports. Regardless to the port connection i got randomly disconnection from the system, not availble on MQTT nor on network of the faikin module. Only way to get it back is switch off the appliances and wait few second that power goes away. this is indeed inconvenient. How could i put in place a cron job to reboot everyday or a whatchdog if that makes sense ?

That should not be necessary, obviously!

There is a reboot, a command/.../restart I think you can do on MQTT that you can send to it.

What does LED show when it breaks?

That just means it has left MQTT. What colours are the LED?

Could this be a WiFi/DHCP issue on your network?

I need to open up the whole split enclosure to check the leds, moreover the faikin is enclosed in thermoretractive plastic non trasparent, that i need to remove . I would exclude DCHP o network issues...

by the way my experience with ESP32 is that as soon as they are able they reconnect, this has something to do not with the connection itsefl...

Do you have multiple access points? It could be a WiFi roaming issue maybe?

• The Faikin can be locked down to fixed IP to address DHCP issues.
• The Faikin can be locked to specific BSSID to avoid roaming issues. (update to latest beta).
