MQTT Faikin failer

So happy to say I got my device and broke open my aircon — it’s installed, running, and working. That is, on WiFi, not with MQTT.

I'm sure it's something simple. My Home Assistant has been running a long time and I've never had any issues, including with other devices.

However, this one looks like it wants to "connect" rather than just be included. I do have a user (mqtt) set up but no password in this test setup, and I wonder if that’s why I’m having a problem?

Each time I add a password and click submit, it looks like it’s forgotten., Also I see user in HA is "homeassistant" and not mqtt
so im getting a bit confused, anybody able to kick me in the right direction ?

You need to put an IP address or resolvable hostname for the server. What you have put has mqtt:// in front, and is not a resolvable hostname or IP address.
