Home Assistant switches and sensors

Well I've installed one Faikout ESP onto the S21 port of one Daikin Airco Unit (BRP069C4x).
The local website is loaded fine and I see a lot of buttons available but in Home Assistant I almost no switches and sensors available. I've installed the official Daikin AC integration.

This is what I get:

Switches

• Power on/off
• Streamer on/off
• The faceplate with the thermostat and options

Sensors

• Inside temperature (Daikin Unit)
• Outside temperature (Daikin Unit)
• Compressor frequency

That's all.

Onto the faceplate with the thermostat and options there's still a problem with the swingmode settings. Switching this will cause an error. I've read something about this already reported in 2024. Horizontal swing causes an error as also 3D swing. Comfort mode is not available onto this faceplate while my airco system has it on board.

At the Faikout settings the Home Assistant and HA Extra switches are on.
How do I get more sensors/switches available inside Home assistant?

What I need is the temperature setpoint.

You must use MQTT in homeassitant with Faikout

Well I'm not used with MQTT. Need to start studying for that.
Is it still possible to use buttons in Home Assistant and sent MQTT messages while a similar button is used?

I've found how to do this. After connecting the Faikout ESP32 to the Home Assistant MQTT server all the switches and sensors are loaded in Home Assistant with a correct working faceplate. Very nice. Everything is already configured in the firmware of the ESP. Thanks for the suggestion.
