Mac voice channel problem

So I was looking for a different version of Discord with some friends and we found this. Registered then downloaded and made a server for us. Joined the voice channel and nothing from my end, I could hear them but not me. I granted permission but it only started blasting the audio. I'm just asking if anyone had this and how to fix it
