The self-hosted option for Revolt is cool, but still is centralized on a single entity/server.
Have you considered the option of using the Simplex protocol?
The Revolt UX is one the best out there, certainly a instant leader if entered this space.
Current implementation is Haskell, so there's a big challenge. But it could be huge if it works.
