Keep profile pictures and descriptions at the time of posting

If one user posts a message then changes the profile picture, the profile picture at the message doesn't change. And if the account is deleted, the profile at the message is preserved instead of changing to a placeholder, unlike Discord where it shows a yellow icon named "Deleted User".

Depending on the client you use, it should automatically update as soon as they hit "Save".

Hi,
for GDPR/legal reasons, this is not something we can entertain. When a user changes their appearance, their old content must be removed as they have specifically replaced it.
When someone deletes their account, their data must be anonymized, which is why you see "Deleted User ...". We (by law) cannot save this information.

Maybe make this feature optional and can be turned on/off by the user.

If you wish to keep the profile, you can disable the account instead of deleting.
