Images not added on Windows 7

I have installed isk-daemon on Windows.
Via UI created new database space.
Tried to import a folder of images and in log I see
03-31 20:37 imageDB DEBUG | addImage(dbId=1, fname='C:\img\316.JPG', newid=1)
03-31 20:37 imageDB DEBUG | addImage(dbId=1, fname='C:\img\317.JPG', newid=1)
..

But after import I see a message "Directory imported. Total new images: 0"

I have the same problem, too.
Both Win7 and XP have this problem.

Please teach me how to solve this problem, thanks a lot.

How is the progress on this going? I am unable to import pictures on Windows Server 2003 R2. On console the output is always "Unable to import image." if importing single image, and if importing a directory, no error message but "new images" is always 0.
The image in the directory is identified, but never added:
02-21 22:05 imageDB DEBUG | addDir(dbId=1, path='C:/', recurse=False)
02-21 22:05 imageDB DEBUG | addImage(dbId=1, fname='C:/\pi.png', newid=1)
Also tried saving images using the php xml-rpc examples. Same results (no results).
Can you please point me to a work around if it exists, or any other method in which I can use this.. Thanks
