At Zendesk, we are heavy users of ruby, and growing users of Snowflake. We'd like to use them together!

We have Snowflake configured to use Okta for all human users, and to disable long-lived credentials like passwords and key pairs. When our engineers do local development with Snowflake in programs written in Java or Python or Go (like dbt) we use the externalbrowser authentication method, which leverages Browser-based SSO for federated auth.

Are there any plans to implement this? Would you be open to contributions or collaboration on this?
