Show previously entered values for a variable

So, first of all - Great Work! This extension seems very useful. ❤️

I'm not sure if it is already there. It would be great if I could get a list of previously entered values for each variable as a quick selection.

Why?
I work with JIRA tickets, and I have a variable called {ticket_number} which is mostly the same for subsequent commits. It might change every week or so.

Additional notes:
We can show the "x" number of previously entered values so the user can select from them or they can type them.

Is it possible? I'm not sure, if you don't have time, you can point me in the right direction. I can work on it and raise a PR.
