Allow local folder as upload/ingest

I was hoping to use this service in combination with a voice recorder and syncthing. I can´t find if it's possible to have a local folder be the ingest for Scriberr. Neither placing a file in the upload folder nor placing it in the quick folder seems to do anything.

I can see that the uploaded files have a different name, I assume there's a good reason for that.
Am I missing something that is possible or would it be dope to have a syncthing-upload to server, to use in this container be a dope set-up?
