Github Sign In Failed

Hey there! New to pullp! I'm working on getting some sort of nice headless display going as i think that would be really handy! Im experimenting on my laptop and i cant seem to sign in? looks like pullp is looking for this oath website but I cant seem to be able to find it. Is this a bug with other people or just me? Thanks!

Sorry guys, this is because I stopped paying for the domain/hosting for the oauth proxy service. My new employer uses Gitlab rather than Github so I've stopped maintaining this app. 😢

There's no analytics in the app so I had no idea others were actively trying to use it

No prob! and yeah, absolutly I would be down to help with hosting, I don't know if i would be any good. This looked really fun to use for my robotics team but, we're pretty small. Maybe i could help make a PR that might make it a little more easy to run locally and without webhosting? We just want an internal view really!

Well, i was able to get your other github repo, the auth server running no problem! But i cant seem to run pulp, says everything is out of date, some packages missing.. i had to npm install --legacy-peer-deps

I'm not very good with JS, I was just looking for a cool way to display what the team was up to on a screen hung up on the wall!

So I've confirmed that it does work locally if you run it alongside a the local auth server (following the README). I also did npm install --legacy-peer-deps, that's not a problem.

Not sure what those errors are you are seeing, I've never seen those before. I just ran Pullp on MacOS on a machine that I've never run it on before 🤔

By the way, if you are doing trial and error with logging in to Github via Pullp and you get in a broken state, open the chrome devtools by keyboard shortcut and then do window.localStorage.clear() in the console. Then refresh via keyboard shortcut. This will have cleared all of the app's local state and prompt to you get a fresh attempt at signing in.

Edit: Just remembered I added a menu item for toggling the devtools, see menubar -> Developer

Maybe I'll try it on a stock/debian machine. its been so long since i looked into pullp, i thought it would be a really cool tool to just run a screen hung up on the wall but as im looking at it again im noticing its not exactly designed to run headless.

Used to run it on a screen in my old employer's office on a raspberry pi. What do you mean exactly by running it headless? Without chrome? It's an electron app so tightly bound to its own chrome instance :)
