Is it possible to use luma.core's linux_framebuffer alongside a color calibration / ICC profile in any manner?
Most of the online discussions I see regarding Linux and color calibration assume one is running X (or Wayland, I suppose). I'm wondering if it is possible to "install" the color lookup tables without running X at all -- such that luma.core's framebuffer ends up running with corrected colors?
A separate but certainly related question is whether the Raspberry Pi video supports color calibration. I'm not yet sure about that.
In exercising different (small) HDMI-attached displays, I've noted that (out-of-the-box) color balance varies quite a bit. The most recent one that I'm using, discussed here:
https://github.com/mattblovell/kodi_panel#wide-aspect-ratio--multi-touch
has a blue-heavy tinge.
Note that I'm not suggesting that luma.core tackle color management at all. I'm just trying to figure out what is possible when X-less.
Thanks!
