Meta tags not saved and Audio Book not Downloading

Describe the bug

Installed version 12 on mac os x. While downloading any podcast/audio book from audible.in. Album art and metadata details like title, artists etc are not getting saved in the downloaded file.

A audio book/podcast not getting downloaded.

To Reproduce

Just download the below podcast/audio book metadata wont be stored.

and the below podcast/audio book is not even downloading.

Expected behavior

Album art and other information like title, Album, Album artists should be stored in downloaded file for

and below podcast/audio book should be downloaded.

@nehasjains Podcasts are different from audiobooks. They are delivered as MP3 without any metadata, and Libation does not add metadata to them. This is working as intended. If you want to make a feature request, you may.

It's not uncommon for podcasts on Audible to trim older episodes as new ones are published. Since you didn't attach your log file, I can only assume that's why the episode didn't download.

Podcasts are different from audiobooks. They are delivered as MP3 without any metadata, and Libation does not add metadata to them.

I am only not getting meta tags for this particular podcast "KHAMOSHI" for every other podcasts I have used Libation only and the metatarsi were saved successfully.

Actually podcast "KHAMOSHI" was also downloaded earlier with metatags. But somehow the files got corrupted during transfer from my sd card to hdd. Here is the link to .zip files I downloaded earlier using libation only but now if I download the meta-tags are not getting saved only for this particular podcast "KHAMOSHI" for others they are saved successfully.

This is a 404 error trying to get the podcast file. Are you able to play this podcast on your Audible app? Specifically the Audible App, it doesn't matter if you can play the podcast from the website.

Libation does not set metadata on podcasts. Podcast episodes downloade by Libation contain only the metadata embedded by the podcast creator. If some mp3s have metadata and others don't, that's an issue to raise with the podcast creator. As I said before, Libation does not add metadata to podcasts.
