Post Tag Search Request

I am using the search to filter post results based on tags using checkboxes. The results then show all posts which include the tags and this functionality is part of what I am looking for.

I would also like to use checkboxes to exclude tags from the search results and am not sure if this functionality is available.

So for example:
We have post recipes and allow searching for tags (ingredients). I would also like the search to allow someone to exclude a tag (ingredient) they wouldn't want. So say I want to look for posts (recipes) that have salt, flour, and butter, BUT do not include eggs.
