Is it possible to enable useNativeDriver?

I see in the source code that useNativeDriver is explicitly is disabled. Is it possible to turn this on or expose as an option? I would like to have smooth 60 FPS animations, but it seems like this option affects this so that they are not fully smooth.

Thoughts?
